Six charred to death in mishap
Kurnool, April 27
Six persons were charred to death and two seriously injured when the vehicle in which they were travelling caught fire after it collided with a lorry at Sugalimetta village of Kurnool district in Andhra Pradesh early on Friday. District Superintendent of Police Seetharamanjaneyulu said the vehicle was going from Nandyal to Hyderabad when it collided with the lorry and caught fire. PTI

Boy held for cyber pornography
New Delhi, April 27
The Crime Branch of the Delhi police has arrested a student of Air Force Bal Bharti school on a charge of creating a pornographic site. A son of a senior Air Force officer, the boy allegedly featured a girl on the site. He was arrested following a complaint registered by the girl’s father, an official of the Crime Branch said. He was remanded in judicial custody at the juvenile remand home in Timarpur. He has been booked under non-bailable offences, the official said. OC
