Cold spell unabated
NEW DELHI, Jan 25 — Cold to severe cold wave conditions continue to prevail in parts of Jammu and Kashmir and Rajasthan. Cold wave conditions also continue to prevail in parts of Himachal Pradesh, Punjab and west Uttar Pradesh. They have abated from Uttaranchal.

NEW DELHI, Jan 25 — Cold to severe cold wave conditions continue to prevail in parts of Jammu and Kashmir and Rajasthan. Cold wave conditions also continue to prevail in parts of Himachal Pradesh, Punjab and west Uttar Pradesh. They have abated from Uttaranchal.

Rainfall: Weather was dry over the region.

Temperature: Past 24 hours’ change: Minimum temperatures fell in Jammu and Kashmir, Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh, rose in Uttaranchal and changed little elsewhere. Departures: They were below normal in east Uttar Pradesh, Uttaranchal and the remaining parts of Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir, Punjab, east Rajasthan and west Uttar Pradesh and normal in Haryana and the remaining parts of west Rajasthan. The lowest temperature in the plains was 0.4°C recorded at Adampur (Punjab).

Forecast valid until the morning of Jan 27: Weather will be dry over the region.

Forecast for Delhi & neighbourhood valid until the morning of Jan 27: Clear sky. Strong chilly winds to continue till tonight. Mist in the morning. Minimum temperature will be around normal of 8°C.
