DHARAMSALA, April 10 — The 17th Karmapa, Ogyen Trinley Dorjee, is likely to leave for Chandigarh in a day or two for treatment at the PGI.

According to sources in the Tibetan government-in-exile, the 14-year-old Karmapa has been keeping unwell for the past some time. After being treated by Tibetan doctors at Delek Hospital he has been recommended for check-up at the PGI.

It is not certain whether the Karmapa will fly to Chandigarh or travel by road. His stay in Chandigarh will depend on the treatment suggested by PGI doctors.

The Karmapa will be leaving Dharamsala for the first time since his arrival on January 5.
