Reasi admn launches skill development programme

Jammu, February 5

The Reasi district administration, in association with the Centre for Essential Skills (CES) of IIT Jammu, launched a skill development programme on Monday.

The programme, under the Mission Youth AVSAR scheme, aims to impart vocational training on skills specific to cater the demands and enhance entrepreneurial skills of the youth of Reasi district.

“It will help to develop soft and technical specific skills related to tourism, videography, agriculture, electrical and marketing skills that aim to equip the youth of Reasi with the necessary skills to give wings to their entrepreneurial ambitions and contribute to job creation and economic development of the region,” a spokesperson said.

Reasi Deputy Commissioner Vishesh Mahajan interacted with the candidates and assured advanced courses to the best performing individuals.
