Srinagar, July 6
Union Minister and BJP national president J P Nadda on Saturday asked party workers to be ready for the Assembly election in Jammu and Kashmir, saying the NDA government led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi has a vision to make the country a third economic power in the world in near future. Nadda, who arrived in Jammu on the birth anniversary of Dr Syama Prasad Mukherjee and addressed the concluding session of two-day ‘Vistarit Karyasamiti Baithak’ here, said entire nation is grateful to Mukherjee for his “commitment and immense contribution towards the integration of Punjab, West Bengal and Jammu & Kashmir with India and for the integrity and sovereignty of the country.”
He also said that in the last 10 years under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the visionary efforts of Mukherjee dedicated to education, finance and development have come true on the ground. “This will give a concrete shape to the bright future of Jammu and Kashmir. In the upcoming Assembly election, every BJP worker is determined to establish service, good governance and development here,” he said.
