Yadavindra Public School, Mohali

Yadavindra Public School, Mohali, hosted its Annual Academic Day. The chairman of YPS association Malvinder Singh and his wife Harpriya Kaur graced the occasion along with other members of the board of governors. The annual school report was read out by the director, Major General TPS Waraich and the prefect council members. The chairman felicitated the ISC and ICSE toppers of the session (2022-23), by awarding them with medals and cash prizes. In addition to this, other students with exceptional academic achievements were honoured. The event began with a prayer song and concluded with an energetic bhangra performance. A twelve -piece jazz band regaled the audience with peppy numbers. Curtains were brought down with the Chief Guest Malvinder Singh releasing the Year Book (2022-23).

DAV Public School, Chandigarh

A ‘Hawan and Vedic Mantra Ucharan Competition’ and other activities related to yoga and meditation were organized at DAV Public School 39-D, for two consecutive days. Children chanted vedic mantras while performing a hawan and “Sahaj Foundation” made them practice yoga and meditation.

Shemrock School, Mohali

Founder’s week at the Shemrock School started off with pomp and show in the campus. Children of junior section showcased their talent and skill on the first day. The students enraptured the audience by folk dances and dancing to nursery rhymes. Fairy tales were enacted on the stage and the kids wore beautiful attires with charming smiles during the performances.

Ashiana Public School, Chandigarh

The Dasehra celebrations at Ashiana Public School started with the recitation of Gayatri mantra and Mool Mantra. Thereafter, Ramayna, which signifies the victory of good over evil was narrated to the students. Songs related to the theme were also sung. Senior wing presented a Dasehra themed skit and other activities related to art and craft were also organised.

Gurukul Global School, Chandigarh

Gurukul Global School, Chandigarh, celebrated the festival of Dasehra with gaiety. Students enjoyed watching Ramleela enacted by teachers. Music and hymns in the praise of Lord Rama echoed in the school premises.

SGGS Collegiate School, Chandigarh

The IT Fiesta at Sri Guru Gobind Singh Collegiate Public School, Sector 26, Chandigarh was concluded today. Six schools participated in the two-day IT fest themed on cyber crime. Various competitions like debate, poster making, face painting, power presentation and skit competition were organised in two days.

Shivalik Public School, Mohali

Shivalik Public School, Mohali, celebrated its annual day and prize distribution ceremony ‘Euphoria -2023’ amidst great zest, vibrancy and elation. Principal Anup Kiran Kaur presented the school’s annual report for the session 2022-23. The cultural programme depicted an array of western, regional and folk dances along with other performances portraying our heritage as well as contemporary times.

Bhavan Vidyalaya, Chandigarh

The primary wing of Bhavan Vidyalaya celebrated Dasehra with great zeal. The celebration’s highlight was a captivating Ramlila performance that left the children spellbound. An eco-friendly initiative was taken by the school, wherein talented artists from the Bal Ramleela Committee were invited to enact the last act of Ramayana.

Guru Nanak Public School, Chd

The air of gaiety and festivity engulfed the premises of Guru Nanak Public School, Sector 36-D, Chandigarh, during the second day of Annual Function “Joie De Vivre.” The evening commenced with a rendition of the school shabad followed by the traditional lamp lighting ceremony. The chief guest was Ms Prerna Puri, Commissioner/Secretary IT Department, J&K. The musical fiesta by Tiny Tots set the mood of the program. Items like unity in diversity, senior citizens, women empowerment and artificial intelligence stole the show. Principal, Ms Gurnam Kaur Grewal presented the annual report. Achievers in the field of academics, sports, NCC and co-curricular activities were felicitated with certificates and trophies.
