Protest over road mishap
:Residents of Babepur village on Tuesday disrupted traffic on the Jhajjar-Gudiyani road for over two hours over a hit-and-run accident in which a man died. The protesters were demanding immediate arrest of the truck driver and a government job to the next of kin.Sonepat
Rail passes to remain valid: Union Railway Minister Sadananda Gowda said on Tuesday that the facility for travelling in the express trains by the monthly pass holders would not be withdrawn from September 1 as announced earlier. 200 colonies to be developed: Congress leader Bhupinder Singh Rana said on Tuesday that the state government had decided to undertake development works in colonies that were in the process of getting authorised.
