Bid to loot ATM at Pinjore
Our Correspondent

Kalka, April 10
Miscreants tried to loot an ATM of ICICI Bank at Pinjore yesterday night. According to information, the incident took place near the Gurdwara Street in the main bazaar of Pinjore.

The burglars broke the outer shutter of the ATM booth. They also removed the front panel of the ATM machine with the help of a gas cutter, but could not take away cash.

The miscreants might have fled after hearing hooters of the night patrolling police staff, said police sources.

One of the security guards came to know about the incident in the morning. He told the bank officials and the police about the incident.

The police reached the spot and found that the bank had not deployed any security guard at night at the ATM, which encouraged the miscreants to commit the crime.
