Duo consumes poison after exposure of illicit relations, man dies

Feeling humiliated after the exposure of their alleged extramarital affair, two lovers consumed a poisonous substance in the Model Town Extension area here today. While the 28-year-old man, identified as Ashok Kumar, died, the doctors managed to save the 26-year-old woman.

Man dies of drug overdose

A 28-year-old man was found dead in a toilet at the Christian Medical College (CMC) and Hospital here today. The deceased has been identified as Harwinder Singh, alias Sunny, of Chhawni Mohalla.
