In the directions recently issued by the Coordination Cell, all Zonal Education Officers, District Education Officers and Principals of Government Senior Secondary Schools have been told not to switch off their mobile phones.

The Income Tax (IT) Department has issued notices to tax payers for not paying advance tax. “It has been found that some of the tax payers, who paid the advance tax last year, have failed to pay the same this year. Many cases have come forward where tax payers have paid a less amount of advance tax as compared to the previous year,” said Nishi Singh, Chief Commissioner, Income Tax.

Four-year-old Sahil Kumar has been diagnosed with a deadly disease and needs financial aid to undergo treatment. The child has been diagnosed with Burkitt’s lymphoma and is currently undergoing treatment at Dayanand Medical College and Hospital.
