The Ludhiana Municipal Corporation Zone D office has served notices to 30 hospitals (falling under the particular zone) asking them to fulfil parking norms as per the MC requirement, or else be ready to face the music. The private hospitals have been given 15 days' time to do the needful.

Annual prize distribution
Annual prize distribution was held at Sri Guru Harkrishan Public School, Doraha. The chief guest on the occasion was director of school Jaspreet Kaur and trust member Amarjit Singh . Students from Nursery to Class VI participated in the function. A cultural programme was also presented on the occasion. Winners of various competitions, held during the session 2013- 14 from Classes Prep to X, were given away prizes by the principal Manjushaw Vinayak , Jaspreet Kaur and Amarjit Singh.

Inter-college competition
The ISTE Students Chapter of Guru Nanak Institute of Management and Technology, Gujarkhan Campus, Model Town, organised an Inter-College Managerial Abilities Competition titled “Successive Hurdle Race-2014- A Journey Towards Corporate Excellence”. The competition was formatted in four rounds. Winners were awarded titles of manager of the year, officer of the year and executive of the year. A total of eighteen teams from various colleges of Panjab University and Punjab Technical University participated in the event.
