City gets Rs 116 cr for regular water supply

To make sure that the city gets regular water supply, the state government approved a Rs 116 crore project yesterday. Now that the project has been approved, all sub-urban areas of the city will get the water supply. This was stated by state PWD Minister Sharanjit Singh Dhillon while laying a foundation stone of the Rs 1.75 crore sewerage project in Sarpanch Colony of Ward No. 12, which falls in the Sahnewal constituency.
