MC to hold camps for regularisation of colonies

The Ludhiana Municipal Corporation has set the ball rolling for the regularisation of unauthorised colonies within the city limits. While the civic body has chalked out an elaborate plan to organise awareness camps in different parts of the city to apprise developers and plot and property owners with the detailed procedure for the regularisation of colonies, plots and properties, some 60 applications have already been submitted with the MC.

A tumour weighing 6 kg was surgically removed by a team of doctors at the Mohandai Oswal Hospital. The 7-year-old girl weighed 20 kg when she was admitted to the hospital.

5 booked for murder

The local police has arrested Gursewak Singh’s cousin along with three contract killers, allegedly hired by him, for killing his own cousin. The victim, Gursewak Singh, was found dead in his car under mysterious circumstances two days ago at a link road connecting the Agwar-Lopon area with Nanaksar.
