Protesters again target public
Ludhiana, July 10
It seems the only way to wake the government up from its deep slumber is to harass the common man. It was evident when yet another protest organised by hundreds of Anganwari workers here caused a lot of inconvenience to the city residents and commuters travelling from far-off places. The agitators had blocked the traffic at Bharat Nagar Chowk for about an hour. As no vehicle was allowed to pass the chowk, the traffic police had to divert the traffic and massive traffic jams were witnessed on all the roads connected to the chowk.
