Four proclaimed offenders held
Ludhiana, February 8
The police has arrested four proclaimed offenders, who had been on the run for long. The POs have been identified as Kuldeep Singh, a resident of street number 1, Vishwakarma Nagar, Ravi Kumar, a resident of Jaswant Nagar, Jaswinder Singh, a resident of Barnala and Raamu Dhuria, a resident of Fauji Colony, Focal Point.



SAI (Lucknow) emerge hockey champs

Sports Authority of India (SAI), Lucknow, warded off stiff challenge from Kurukshetra XI before coming out triumphant 4-3 to clinch the title in the seventh All-India Jagtar Memorial Hockey Tournament (U-21) that concluded at the Olympian Prithipal Singh AstroTurf Stadium of Punjab Agricultural University campus here today. The issue was resolved through a tie-breaker as the two sides were locked 3 all at the end of the regular period.
