Inter-state gang of carjackers busted

Coordination between the police of the city and other districts played a pivotal role in the busting of yet another inter-state gang of carjackers which had taken away a car and other valuables form a 21-year-old youth of the city at gunpoint in Ferozepur last night.

At last, Rs 20,000 reward for battling foeticide

After running from pillar to post for five years for getting a reward, which was "due to him" for carrying out a sting operation regarding an abortion, Vivek Bakshi was a "partially" relieved man today when he was given a cheque for Rs 20,000 at the office of the Civil Surgeon, Ludhiana.

Ensure all eligible persons get voter card, officials told

Long wait for Aadhar cards

After the first phase of making Aadhar cards at post offices here concluded in Februrary this year, it was stated that work would resume in April. Private banks ignore weaker sections
