Rs 25,000 looted: Some car-borne miscreants snatched two bags containing Rs 25,000 at gunpoint from workers of a petrol pump near Talwara Khurd village on Thursday. The miscreants allegedly came on a car to Haryana petrol pump situated on the Ellenabad-Hanumangarh road and asked to fill diesel worth Rs 500. As one of the workers was filling diesel in their car, one youth pointed gun on him and snatched his moneybag, while another youth went to another worker and snatched money collected by him.

Electrocuted: A couple was electrocuted on Friday morning in Didwein panchayat in the district when they came in contact with a barbed wire, in which electrical current had been passed. Jeet Ram and his wife Giano Devi were working in their fields when Giano Devi came in contact with the barbed wire tied around the fields. When Jeet went to save his wife he was also electrocuted. Both were killed on the spot.
43 hurt in mishap: Around 43 passengers of a private bus were injured on Friday morning when a bus of Jundial Bus Services plunged into a 50-feet-deep gorge near Kalka Mata temple under the Badsar sub-division. The injured were rushed to FRU Hospital,
Badsar. A seriously injured passenger was referred to regional hospital,
Hamirpur. DSP Badsar, Madan Kant Sharma said the 32-seater bus, was carrying about 45 passengers and was on its way from Galian to
