Summer course ends: Four Class XI students of Ryan International School completed the ‘Beyond Breaking News’ summer course at Ryan International School, Malad, Mumbai. Students who went for the course were Gurasis, Mansirat, Sukhman and Kiranpreet. A media initiative of the Ryan International Group of Institution imparts formal training to young student journalists (age group 11 to 21) for a TV news presentation and production course.

HIKE REJECTED: The SAD has rejected the 16 per cent hike in the support price of paddy to Rs 1,250 and said that nothing below minimum a 50 per cent hike was acceptable. The party also rejected the MSP for cotton at Rs 3,600 and Rs 3,900. It said that nothing below Rs 5,000 for cotton and Rs 1,750 for paddy would be acceptable to the farmers.
