Family on vacation, house burgled

Thieves struck at a house located in Shaheed Bhagat Singh Nagar and decamped with a mobile phone, computer, laptop, gold ornaments and cash worth
lakhs. According to Vinit Garg, owner of the house, the incident came to light when the family returned to the house after a vacation.

LIT approves Rs 105.52-cr budget

The Ludhiana Improvement Trust (LIT) has approved the annual budget of Rs 105.52 crore for the next financial year. It is two-and-a-half time more than the revised budget estimate for the current year which stood at Rs 42.21 crore.

Bus overturns, 14 injured

At least 13 girls and a driver sustained injuries after a bus ferrying students of an institute overturned at Pandhi village near Dehlon today evening.
