Hospital organises stroke awareness camp

The Working Women Forum Ludhiana and Punjab Istri Sabha in a meeting on Thursday announced to support D P Maur, CPI candidate of the Sanjha Morcha ( PPP, CPI, CPI(M) and Akali Dal (Longowal), who is contesting from Ludhiana West. Police cracks Rs 18.5-lakh theft in two days

New record set in shot put

Ludhiana, December 18
Athletes participate in 400m race during the 2nd day of the 57th National School Games at Guru Nanak Stadium in Ludhiana on Thursday. On the second day of the 57th edition of the National School Athletics Championship Monu made a new record with 17.75mtr in shot put. He broke the record of Naresh from Hrayana which was 17.42 mtr. Navjeet Kaur Dhillon from Punjab won gold medal in Shot Put under 19 girls with 12.77 mtr. Sareemth Mohan under 17 boys from Kerala missed making the record by one point.
