Mention Rolls Royce and a picture of luxury and opulence comes to mind. At the top of the line is the Rolls Royce Phantom. “Sold exclusively to the royalty and heads of states. Any other potential buyer need not apply!” So said Rolls Royce in the 1930s when the Phantom was the quintessence of automobile engineering. World War II changed all that. Today anyone with Rs 3.5 crore can buy one.

Don your creative hats to turn this vacation into a cool break with Gaurav
Happy holidays

Hey kids, hope you’re having a great time enjoying your summer vacations! So, now that you have a lot of free time, how about you utilise it productively and creatively? Here are a few tips and tricks to have a really cool summer:

Counting her blessings
Deepa Karmalkar catches up with Amrita Rao, who is back with another Rajshri productions, I Love You… Mr Kalakaar

It’s easy to see how she made it to big banner films like Main Hoon Na…, Masti and also to art-house creations like Welcome to Sajjanpur. A charming blend of glamour and girl-next-door appeal, Amrita Rao’s been in filmdom for almost a decade now. Sweet ’n’ nice — that’s the quintessential Rajshri heroine. So is there any difference between Ritu of I Love You…Mr Kalakaar and Poonam of Vivaah?

Save your skin
What is the solution for protection against the summer sun? Avoid sun exposure. Apply sun-block products, says Banalata Bipani

The heat is on. If you believe everything the ads tell you, walking out of your home without slathering yourself with sunscreen is akin to harakiri. Exposure to the sun increases the production of melanin, which is the skin’s pigment and gives the skin its colour. Melanin actually protects the skin from the sun’s radiation. Once it is produced, it moves up to the skin surface.
