Woman succumbs to acid burns

In a tragic end to a love marriage, a woman, who had suffered acid attack by her husband on March 30, succumbed to her injuries at a local hospital here today.The victim Puja Sharma (21) was injured in the attack by her husband Amit Sharma. She is survived by her one-and-a-half-year-old son.

Anxiety rules as students appear for IIT entrance test

Since morning, hundreds of students accompanied by their parents were seen going for the entrance tests at several centres (both in schools and on college premises). The entrance tests have been conducted for subjects including physics, chemistry and maths.
