Deeming demand raised by senior citizens for parity in train travel concession, Dhuri MLA Iqbal Singh Jhoonda has urged Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh to impress upon authorities in the railway ministry to remove the disparity between senior citizens of both sexes. In a communication recommended by legislators, senior citizens and pensioners of the area have once again urged union railway minister Mamata Benerjee to remove the disparity pertaining to the train travel concession.
