Nursing students shine:
Four students of the third batch of the Desh Bhagat School of Nursing, brought laurels in the three and a half year GNM course. They got distinction by securing 80 per cent marks. A total of 26 students appeared in the internship, out of which, 21 passed with first division while four secured distinction. Dr Zora Singh Mann, chairman, Desh Bhagat Group of Institutes, appreciated the achievements. Kuldeep Longia, principal, and Tajinder Kaur, vice-chairperson, also expressed their joy. 

Phagwara
Trouble-maker monkey dies
: A monkey, which was creating trouble for the residents of the Phagwara town, died of electrocution when it came in contact with the high tension wires in Gaushala Bazaar this afternoon.
