The winner of MTV stunt mania and his friends were left high and dry after they could not perform in the 75th edition of the Kila Raipur games here today.
They reportedly waited for over six hours at the venue of the rural sports event, but they were not given a chance to perform.

Killers hired to murder elder brother

A protracted property dispute ended in two men, both brothers, getting their elder sibling murdered by hired killers. With the arrest of the two suspects, Raj Kumar and Surinder Kumar, the police today claimed to have solved the murder of Joginder Pal, 43, a resident of the Jawahar Nagar camp area in July last year.
Encroachments by car showrooms demolished

Two commit suicide in separate incidents

Two suicide cases were reported in different part of the city here today. In the first incident, a 28- year- old priest allegedly committed suicide by hanging himself from a ceiling hook in his elder brother’s house in Kitchlu Nagar here.

Now, regular cops to help ease city traffic

Along with law enforcement and crime detection cops have a new task at hand. The city’s newly appointed police commissioner, Ishwar Singh, has instructed them to work together with traffic cops in easing the growing vehicular congestion at the city’s worst bottlenecks.
