A resident of Sector 12-A opened fire following a scuffle among neighbours, which included members of the family of local municipal councillor, here today. There was panic in the area after the incident. The police booked persons from both sides under different sections of the IPC.

Panjab University has released its schedule of annual examination- April 2010. The practical examination of undergraduate classes will start before the theory exams from March 10 to 26. Examinations for BA/BSC/Bcom (general and honours) BBA/BCA will start from April 1.
