Hotels shut against luxury tax

Protesting against the luxury tax, hotels today remained closed and put black flags on their
establishments. Hotels throughout Punjab remained closed on a call given by the Hotel and Restaurant Association of Punjab. Members also took out a protest rally from Bhadaur House.

Deaths 4 months ago could be murders: Report

About four months ago, nine persons were found unconscious near Nanaksar.
Two of them died at Civil Hospital, Jagraon. Now, the viscera report suggests something fishy. Traces of chemicals used as poison are found in the viscera report of the deceased.

Cop thrashing: Congmen meet SSP
