The hue and cry being raised by the dyeing units in the city following directions of the Punjab Pollution Control Board (PPCB) and the support being extended to it by the BJP notwithstanding, the PSEB has started the process of disconnecting power connections of 35 units on the Tajpur Road.

While price of most of the vegetables are soaring, garlic, the most important ingredient used in cooking has become cheap these days. The price of garlic has come down considerably. Generally it is priced around Rs 60-70 per kg but these days it is available for Rs 20-25 per kg.
The reason behind the fall in the price is the wrong equation between demand and
supply.

SBI sets 3,000-cr target for small units
