At a time when the country is clamouring for right to information (RTI), the city administration is empowering people with “misinformation” through its official website.
The “net” result is that the administration’s endeavour to introduce application of information technology is a nonstarter with a website full of glaring mistakes.

The UT administration seems to be in no mood to hike value added tax (VAT) on liquor, giving sleepless nights to the Punjab Government.

The city administration has provided cycle/rickshaw tracks throughout the city, but no one really uses those.
With the increase in traffic, there is need to separate cycle/rickshaw traffic to reduce the risk of accidents.
