Badal voices concern over depleting green cover

Stressing upon the conservation of forest cover in the Kandi area, Punjab Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal today announced that the state government was vigorously pursuing with the issue of taking out 57,000 hectare of non-forest areas out of the purview of the Punjab Land Preservation Act, 1900.
