Rainfall: Rain/thundershowers have occurred at a few places in Jammu and Kashmir and East Rajasthan and at isolated places in Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, West Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand. Weather was dry in the rest of the region.

The chief amounts of rainfall in cm are: Himachal Pradesh: Renuka 1, East Rajasthan (2 cm and above): Gangapur city, Chhabra and Mount Abu 6 each, Chaksu, Sambhar and Veja 5 each, Aklera, Angai, Baseri, Geola, Deoli, Jhalawar, Nadauti, Dungla and Badisadri 4 each, Baswa, Behror, Sapou, Nasirabad, Sawar, Mangrol, Hindoli and Reodar 3 each and Aspur, Arai, Mathuwa, Rajgarh, Govindgarh, Bari, Sabla, Bijoliya, Khandar, Bonli, Manoharthana, Baran, Shahbad, Todabhim and Sarara 2 each, West Rajasthan: Degana 3, East Uttar Pradesh: Banda and Hamirpur F.M. 1 each, West Uttar Pradesh: Kalpi 4, Mawi 3, Bareilly and Fatehgarh 2 each and Farukhabad 1 and Uttarakhand: Pantnagar 2 and Joshimath and Mukteshwar 1each.

Forecast valid until the morning of September 19: Rain/thundershowers are likely at many places in Jammu and Kashmir, at a few places in Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, East Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand and at isolated places in Punjab and West Rajasthan. Rainfall activity over Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, east Rajasthan, west Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand is likely to increase after 24 hours.
