Rainfall: Rain/thundershowers have occurred at many places in east Rajasthan and at isolated places in Haryana, Jammu and Kashmir, west Rajasthan and west Uttar Pradesh. Weather was mainly dry in the rest of the region.

The chief amounts of rainfall in cm are: Haryana: Bawal and New Delhi (Safdarjung) 3 each and Nangal Chaudhry 1, Jammu and Kashmir: Katra 3, East Rajasthan (4 cm and above): Pipalda 13, Bhlwara 11, Kotri, Mandal, Udaipur city and Begu 9 each, Bhim, Lalsot, Naseerabad, Banera, Mandalgarh and Girwa 8 each, Karera and Gangrar 7 each, Gyangarh, Bijolia and Deogarh 6 each, Arnod, Bagore, Khandar, Mangrol, Mandana, Mount Abu, Nadauti, Udaipur AP and Mavli 5 each and Bassi, Ramgarh, Vijaynagar, Niwai, Hamirgarh, Gangapur city, Sapotra, Sagwara, Mount Abu (T), Vallabhnagar, Sarara, Chittorgarh, Rasmi and Railmogra 4 each, West Rajasthan: Sojat 5, Bhinmal and Jaswantpura 4 each, Pali and Marwar Junction 3 each, Raniwara and Jayal 2 each and Ahore, Sayla, Jatrain and Khinvensar 1 each and West Uttar Pradesh: Jhansi 3 and Mathura 1.

Forecast valid until the morning of September 18: Rain/thundershowers are likely at many places in southeast Rajasthan, at a few places in southwest Rajasthan and at isolated places in the rest of the region.

Outlook for the subsequent two days: Rainfall activity is likely to increase in the region with heavy to very heavy rain in Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand and heavy rain in Haryana, chandigarh, Delhi, east Rajasthan and west Uttar Pradesh.

Farmers weather bulletin for Delhi: Forecast valid until the morning of September 18: Sky will be partly cloudy.

Outlook for the subsequent two days: Rainfall activity is likely to increase.
