Rainfall: Rain/thundershowers have occurred at most places in Himachal Pradesh, at many places in Haryana, Punjab and Uttarakhand, at a few places in west Uttar Pradesh and at isolated places in the rest of the region. The chief amounts of rainfall in cm are: Haryana: (2 cm or more) Ambala 7, Ayanagar and Gharaunda 6 each, Dadri, Pataudi, Bahadurgarh, Sirsa and Gannaur 4 each, Ambala AP, Bhawanikhera, Chandigarh, New Delhi (Safdarjung), Gurgaon, Berikhas, Jhajjar, Kaithal, Thanesar and Narnaul 3 each, and Ateli, Bhiwani, New Delhi (Palam), Julana, Delhi Ridge Mahendergarh, Panchkula, Bawal, Jatusana, Khol, Koshli, Sampla and Mustfabad 2 each; Himachal Pradesh: Dharamsala 5, Berthin and Bhuntar 4 each, Jetaon Barrage 3, Kahu, Pandoh and Nahan 2 each and Kasol, Ghamroor, Sundernagar, Shimla, Solan and Una 1 each; Jammu and Kashmir: Patti 1; Punjab: Rajpura 10, Faridkot and Dera Bassi 8 each, Patiala 5, Patti 3, Hoshiarpur, Phillaur, Moga and Muktsar 2 each and Samrala, Balachaur and Anandpur Sahib 1 each; east Rajasthan:
Malakhera and Rajakhera 6 each, Kathumar and Manoharthana 5 each, Bahadurpur, Govindgarh, Neemrana, Bayana and Beri 3 each, Laxmangarh, Kotkasim, Bansur, Nadbai, Nagar, Sapu, Sarmathura, Chickli, Banswara and Sajangarh 2 each and Kotputli, Sikrai, Alwar Tehsil, Behror, Bharatpur Tehsil, Kumbher, Deeg, Khanpur, Chhabra, Kesarpura and Danpur 1 each; west Rajasthan: Sriganganagar 3 and Sriganganagar Tehsil, Karanpur and Padampur 2 each; east Uttar Pradesh: Chhatnag, Varanasi FM and Phaphamau 3 each and Sultanpur and Varanasi AP 1 each; west Uttar Pradesh: Mathura FM 7, Narora 5, Mathura 3, Hindon, Sarsawa, Moradabad FM and Shahjahanpur 2 each and Moradabad, Aligarh and Bareilly 1 each and Uttarakhand: Joshimath, Marora, Rishikesh and Tehri FM 3 each, Dehra Dun and New Tehri 2 each and Rudraprayag and Uttarkashi 1 each.
