300 teachers stage dharna
Want govt to recruit them as permanent staff

Braving rain, at least 300 computer teachers representing the Computer Teachers’ Union (Contractual), Punjab, staged a dharna at the Bharat Nagar Chowk and blocked the traffic for more than two hours.

100 special kids given certificates

There was a great enthusiasm among students and entrepreneurs in terms of admission and training in School of Agricultural Biotechnology at PAU, said Dr S.S. Gosal, head of the school. Gosal informed that the training was imparted in biotechnology to more than 450 candidates during the last four years. The candidates came from various institutions located in Punjab, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, UP, Delhi, Maharashtra and Bihar.
