Rainfall: Rain/thundershowers have occurred at most places in Jammu and Kashmir, Uttar Pradesh, at many places in Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, at a few places in Punjab and at isolated places in Haryana and East Rajasthan. Weather was mainly dry in the rest of the region. 

The chief amounts of rainfall in cm are: Haryana: Ambala and Mustafabad 3 each, Radaur 2 and Bilaspur, Nalagarh, Jagadhari, Chhachhrauli, Sadhaura, Indri, Puhana and Hathin 1 each. Himachal Pradesh : Sundernagar 10, Bausan 7, Dharamsala and Nahan 3 each and Mandi 1 each. Jammu and Kashmir: Jammu A.P. 8, Udhampur 6, Banihal and Jammu 5 each, Batote 4, Bhaderwah 3, Kukernag and Quazigund 2 each and Katra and Pahalgam 1 each. Punjab: Adampur 6, Pathankot 5, Balachaur 2 and Amritsar, Dasuya, Mukerian and Ropar 1 each, East Rajasthan: Rajakhera 9, Dholpur (T) 5, Baharatpur (T) 4, Roopwas 3, Veri, Baseri and Sapu 2 each and Deeg, Govindgarh, Kumbher, Kathumar, Kaman, Nadhai and Sarmathura 1 each. East Uttar Pradesh: Kanpur F.M. 34, Kanpur A.P. 18, Hamirpur 11, Bani 9, Lucknow6, Banda F.M., Chillaghat andHanuman Setu 5, Lucnow C.R. and Neemsar 4 each, Hardoi and Fursatgarh 3 each, Banda, Elginbridge, Katerniaghat and Mohana 2 each and Chhatnag,, Gazipur, Gonda F.M., Mirzapur F.M., Rae Bareiliy F.M. and Uska Bazaar 1 each. West Uttar Pradesh: Kalpi 26, Shahjina 16,AuriyadnaAgra 12 each, Aligarh and Etawah F.M. 9 each, Ankinghat and Sarsawa 4 each, Mathura and Dabri 3 each, Bareilly 2 and Narora 1 and Uttrakhand: Pantnagar 5, Uttarkashi 4, Mukteshwar 2 and Dehra Dun F.M., Haridwar, Srinagar and Rudraprayag 1 each.

Forecast valid until the morning of July 8: Rain/thundershowers will occur at many places in Himachal Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh and Uttrakhand, at a few places in Haryana, Punjab, Jammu and Kashmir and east Rajasthan and at isolated places in the rest of the region. 

Heavy rainfall warning: Isolated heavy rain is likely in Himachal Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh and Uttrakhand during the next 48 hours. 

Outlook for the subsequent two days: No large change.

Forecast for Delhi and neighbourhood valid until the morning of July 8: Generally cloudy sky with one or two spells of rain/thundershowers.
