Rainfall: Rain/thundershowers have occurred at most places in east Uttar Pradesh, at many places in Uttarakhand, at a few places in west Uttar Pradesh and at isolated places in the rest of the region. The chief amounts of rainfall in cm are: Himachal Pradesh: Bharwain 10, Bangana 9, Amb 7, Mehre Barsar 4, Ghamroor and Palampur 3 each, Nalagarh 2 and Dharamshala, Ghumarwin and Nurpur 1 each; Punjab: R.S Dam site 7, Shahpur Kandi 6 and Pathankot 5; East Rajasthan: Salumber and Veja 7 each and Aspur, Ajmer, Arthuna, Puskar, Nasribad, Beawar, Binai, Kesoraj Patan, Chhipabarod, Udaipur city and Kanba 1 each; West Rajasthan: Pokran 2; East Uttar Pradesh: Banda F.M. 21, Banda 11, Sultanpur F.M. 10, Ballia F.M., Sultanpur and Turtipar 9 each, Chilaghat 7, Khadda 5, Allahabad, Ghazipur F.M. and Fapamau 4 each, Balrampur F.M., Chhatnag, Fursatganj, Ghazpur and Mukhlishpur 3 each, Ayodhya, Birdghat, Gonda, Katerniaghat, Regoli, Uska Bazar and Varanasi A.P. 2 each and Basti F.M., Bhatpurwaghat, Hamirpur, Jaunpur and Lucknow C.R. 1 each; West Uttar Pradesh: Jhansi 2 and Auriya, Etawah and Shahjina 1 each; and Uttarakhand: Banbasa 7, Dehra Dun F.M. 6, Dehra Dun 5, Kalagarh 4, Hardwar, Mukteshwar and Rishikesh 2 each and Joshimath and Pantnagar 1 each.

Forecast valid until the morning of July 5: Rain/thundershowers will occur at many places in Himachal Pradesh, east Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand, at a few places in Haryana, Punjab, east Rajasthan and west Uttar Pradesh and at isolated places in the rest of the region.

Heavy rainfall warning: Isolated heavy rain is likely in east Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand during the next 48 hours.

Outlook for the subsequent two days: Rainfall activity is likely to increase over the region except east Uttar Pradesh and west Rajasthan where no large change is expected.

Forecast for Delhi and neighbourhood valid until the morning of July 5: Warm and Humid day with partly cloudy sky. Possibility of rain/thundershowers towards evening/night.

Outlook for the subsequent two days: Rainfall activity likely to increase.
