Demolition squad sent packing

Amid high drama, slum dwellers of Shaheed Bhagat Singh Nagar today forced a demolition squad of the Ludhiana Improvement Trust to return here today.
Following an order of the PSHRC to the LIT to clear jhuggis from parks in the G and F blocks of SBS Nagar, the squad came back after telling them to clear the parks by February 19.
