Poor get Rs 15 lakh under shagun scheme
Ludhiana, January 30
Tourism and cultural affairs minister Hira Singh Gabria today distributed cheques worth Rs 15 lakh among 100 beneficiaries under the Shagun scheme at Labour Colony, here today.
He said the state government would be spending Rs 1,320 crore on the welfare of the weaker sections during the current financial year.
