Gang of killers busted, three held

The local police today achieved a major breakthrough with the arrest of the three member of a notorious auto-rickshaw gang. With this, the police claims to have solved three murder cases. They were wanted for the killing of an employee at Jaspal Bangar village, in Sawitri Devi and barber’s murder cases.

85 poor families given ration
Ludhiana, January 21
The Sarv Dharam Welfare Society distributed free ration to destitute women and books to their children during a function held here today. Deputy commissioner Sumer Singh Gurjar said the society, headed by councillor Madan Lal Bagga, had undertaken a very noble cause.
