Badal lays stone for Bathinda stadium

Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal today laid the foundation stone of an international cricket stadium at Jodhpur Romana village on the outskirts of the town. This will be the second international cricket stadium in Punjab after the PCA stadium in Mohali.

To create congenial employer-employee relationship and safeguard rights of the labour in the state, the Punjab Government has constituted an 18-member Punjab State Labour Welfare Board and a 21-member Punjab Minimum Wages Advisory Board with immediate effect.

The Rural Medical Services Association of Punjab and doctors working in rural areas under Zila Prishads in Punjab have sought a probe against a senior medical officer(SMO)of Gurdaspur allegedly for harassing a woman doctor posted at Rural Health Officer (RMO) at Gho under PHC Sujanpur in Gurdaspur district.
