Torture: Protesters seek doctor’s arrest

Protesters, including the relatives of one Harajinder Singh, son of a cop of
Phagwara, held a demonstration and ransacked the Punjab Drugs-De-Addiction Centre, Goraya, in Phillaur subdivision on yesterday
afternoon. The demonstrators alleged that Harajinder died on March 25 due to the inhuman attitude and torture given by doctors of the centre. They were demanding the immediate arrest of the doctor.
