A list of 45 out of the total 100 pending cases of the District Consumer Disputes Redressal Forum that have been shifted to Kapurthala, vide an order passed by the state commission received here yesterday, has been widely condemned by the lawyers and consumers here who have alleged that there were certain anomalies in it.

In a significant decision, District consumer disputes redressal forum, quashed Rs 10,740 added in the bill of a consumer under the head sundry charges by the Punjab state electricity board (PSEB).
