Judicial remand: A local court on Friday remanded the two rape accused in 14-day judicial custody. The accused Bishan Singh and Om Parkash of Lagnu village in Sangrah tehsil, had raped an 18-year-old girl of the same village.

Labourer dead: Surender Singh, a labourer, who was engaged in the construction of a structure at Ranbaxy Laboratories Pvt Ltd in Paonta Sahib died after he fell on the ground on Friday. He was a resident of Tokio village in Paonta tehsil.

Arrested:The Majra police on Friday arrested Surinder Singh of Katal village under the Paonta subdivision and seized 40 bottles of the IMFL liquor from his possession.
