Rainfall: Rain/snow has occurred at isolated places in

Jammu and Kashmir. Weather was dry in the rest of the region.

Temperature: Past 24 hours change: The minimum temperatures rose in west Rajasthan and changed little elsewhere.

Departure: They were appreciably above normal in Rajasthan and normal in the rest of the region. The lowest temperature in the plains was 4°C recorded at Adampur (Punjab).

Forecast valid until the morning of December 27: Rain/snow is likely at a few places in Jammu and Kashmir and at isolated places in Himachal Pradesh and Uttaranchal during the next 24 hours. Rain/snow is likely at many places in Himachal Pradesh and Jammu and Kashmir and at a few places in Uttaranchal during the subsequent 24 hours.

Rain/thundershowers are likely at isolated places in Haryana, Punjab and west Rajasthan during the next 24 hours and at a few places during subsequent 24 hours. Weather will be mainly dry in the rest of the region.
