Rainfall: Rain/snow has occurred at isolated places in Jammu and Kashmir. Weather was dry in the rest of the region. Kupwaram, Jammu and Kashmir, recorded 2 cm. of rainfall.

Temperature: Past 24 hours change: The minimum temperatures fell in Himachal Pradesh and changed little elsewhere. Departure: They were markedly above normal in Rajasthan, appreciably above normal in Haryana, Punjab, Jammu and Kashmir, and west Uttar Pradesh and normal in east Uttar Pradesh and Uttaranchal. The lowest temperature in the plains was 9C recorded at Sarsawa in Uttar Pradesh.

Forecast valid until the morning of November 19: Rain/snow is likely at many places in Jammu and Kashmir and at isolated places in Himachal Pradesh and Uttaranchal. Rain/thundershowers are likely at isolated places in Punjab. Weather will be mainly dry in the rest of the region.
