The annual prize distribution function of MGN Public School was held on Sunday. The chief guest on the occasion was Yen Chen How Rinpoche, Guru of Taiwan’s Glorious Jewel Buddhist Centre. The stage was set as a Buddhist stupa. The theme of the function’s presentation was a balanced approach as the need of the hour.

Fruit retailers stage dharna
The business at the local New Vegetable Market in Maqsudan came to a standstill today as fruit retailers observed a dharna to protest against the alleged undue overcharging by vegetable and fruit commission agents.
