Rainfall: Weather was dry over the region.

Temperature: Past 24 hours change: The maximum temperatures changed little.

Departure: They were appreciably above normal in Jammu and Kashmir, Uttar Pradesh and Uttaranchal, above normal in east Rajasthan and normal in the rest of the region. The highest temperature in the region was 38.7°C recorded at Jhansi (Uttar Pradesh).

Past 24 hours change: The minimum temperatures changed little.

Departure: They were appreciably above normal in Haryana and Himachal Pradesh, above normal in east Rajasthan and west Uttar Pradesh and normal in the rest of the region. The lowest temperature in the plains was 18.4°C recorded at Sarsawa (Uttar Pradesh).

Forecast valid until the morning of October 14: Weather will be mainly dry over the region. However, isolated rain/snow is likely in Himachal Pradesh and Jammu and Kashmir after 24 hours.
