Temperature: Past 24 hours change: The maximum temperatures change little. Departure: They were appreciably above normal in Haryana, west Rajasthan and west Uttar Pradesh, above normal in Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir, Punjab, and east Rajasthan and normal in the rest of the region. The highest temperature in the region was 38.8C recorded at Churu (Rajasthan).

Past 24 hours change: The minimum temperatures changed little. Departure: They were appreciably above normal in Jammu and Kashmir and West Uttar Pradesh, above normal in Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Punjab, east Rajasthan and east Uttar Pradesh and Uttaranchal and normal in the rest of the region. The lowest temperature in the plains was 19°C recorded at Swaimadhopur (Rajasthan).
