Rainfall: Rain/thundershowers have been reported at Punjab, at many places in Himachal Pradesh and Uttaranchal, at a few places in Haryana, east Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh and at isolated places in the rest of the region. The chief amounts of rainfall in cms are: Haryana: Chandigarh, Faridabad, Kalka and Naraingarh 3 each, Chhachhrauli 2 and Ambala 1, Himachal Pradesh: Berthin 3, Bhang, Solangnala and Sundernagar 2 each and Dhundhi, Kahu, Guler, Nagrotasurian and Sujanpurtira 1 each, Jammu and Kashmir: Basholi and Katra 4 each, Patti 3 and Bhoond 1, Punjab: Ludhiana, Nangal and Patiala 3 each, East Rajasthan: Bharatpur, Mount Abu and Chikli 3 each, Arthuna 2 and Alwar, Nagar, Pindwara and Revdar 1 each, West Rajasthan: Bhinmal 1, East Uttar Pradesh: Dalmau 3, Chillaghat, Hamirpur, Mohana and Varanasi city 2 each and Bhinga, Katerniaghat, Lucknow and Shardanagar 1 each, West Uttar Pradesh: Fatehagarh 6, Bareilly 5 and Dabri and Moradabad 1 each and Uttaranchal: Banbasa and Dehradun 3 each, Jhosimath and Pantnagar 2 each and Marora and Rudraprayag 1 each.
