POPPY HUSK SEIZED: The police seized 4.4 kg poppy husk from the glove box of a scooter (PB-23B-3949) in the Kothe Pona area. The scooterist, however, managed to run away. The police has impounded the scooter and registered a case. LIQUOR SEIZED: The Sidhwan Bet police arrested Chhinder Singh of Madepur from his village and seized 6.9 lt of illicit liquor.
